Privacy Policy

Baba Apps LLC ("Baba Apps," "we," "us") makes apps for kids and families. Children's privacy matters to us, and we've designed our products to collect as little information as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, www.babaapps.com (the "Site"), and to the mobile apps we publish (the "Apps"). Some Apps may have an app-specific notice that adds detail; where it does, that notice applies along with this one.

The short version

• Our Apps do not ask children for their name, email address, phone number, photos, location, or any other personal information.
• We do not show behavioral or targeted advertising, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
• Purchases are handled by Apple or Google, behind a parental gate. We never see payment details.
• If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

Children's privacy

Our Apps are designed for children, and we comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in their country).

Features meant for grown-ups, such as purchases, links that leave the App, settings, and ways to contact us, sit behind a parental gate, a simple challenge designed so that a parent or guardian completes it rather than a young child.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by emailing us, please contact us at hello@babaapps.com. We will delete it promptly. Parents may also ask us to review or delete any information we hold about their child.

Information we collect

When you use our Apps

• Information stored on the device. Progress, settings, and creations made in an App are stored on the device itself (and, where available, in the family's own iCloud or Google account backup). We do not receive this data.
• Technical and diagnostic information. Our Apps may collect limited, non-identifying technical information, such as device type, operating system version, App version, crash reports, and aggregate usage statistics (for example, which activities are opened). We use it only to keep the Apps working, fix bugs, and improve them. We do not use it to identify, profile, or contact a child, and we do not combine it with other data to do so.
• Purchase information. In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive confirmation that a purchase was made so we can unlock content, but not your name, payment card, or billing address.

When you visit our Site

• The Site does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking tools, and it has no accounts or sign-up forms.
• Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic request data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.
• The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when you visit.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to respond and to keep a record of the conversation.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Site and Apps
• To diagnose crashes and technical problems
• To unlock content you've purchased
• To respond to questions and support requests from parents and other adults
• To comply with the law and protect the safety and security of our users and services

Advertising

We do not show behavioral or targeted advertising in our Apps, and we do not allow third-party advertising networks to collect information from children through our Apps. If an App ever shows promotions, such as for other Baba Apps titles, they will be contextual, not based on tracking, and any link that leaves the App will sit behind a parental gate.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share limited information only:

• With service providers who help us run our business, such as hosting, crash reporting, and email. They may use the information only to provide services to us, under contracts that require them to protect it.
• With app stores (Apple and Google), which process purchases under their own privacy policies.
• For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or Baba Apps.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply to information transferred.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Diagnostic data is kept in aggregated or limited form and deleted when it is no longer useful. Emails are kept as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we handle. No system is perfectly secure, but because we collect so little, there is very little information to protect in the first place.

Your choices and rights

• You can delete an App, and the data stored with it, from your device at any time.
• You can limit tracking and diagnostic sharing through your device's privacy settings.
• Depending on where you live (for example, Colorado, California, or the European Union), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you or your child, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email hello@babaapps.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

International users

Baba Apps is based in the United States. If you use our Site or Apps from outside the U.S., the limited information described here may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date above, and if the changes are significant we'll provide more prominent notice. We will not make material changes to how we handle children's information without any parental consent the law requires.
